Viewpoint: Businesses concerned raised costs could stifle growth, as unions clash over pay rise

The Chamber of Commerce and Gibraltar Federation of Small businesses have raised concerns about the impact of increased costs and taxes that could stifle growth.

Also speaking on Viewpoint last night, the GGCA and Unite the Union clashed over the public sector £1,200 consolidated pay rise.

Meanwhile, the catering association believes the rise in minimum wage and social insurance cap will hit the industry hard, while workers won’t benefit from either measure.
