Events to mark International Women’s Day continue this week.
The aim of these is to further opportunities for women in the workplace, and ensure equity in a professional environment.
The GFSB and Women in Enterprise held an International Women’s Day gathering at Isola’s.
The forum included workshops discussing strategies for fostering supportive and inclusive workplaces for women, while also providing networking opportunities for those taking part.
The GFSB’s Michaela Rees believes annual events like this continue to be fundamental.
The forum organised by the Gibraltar General Clerical Association Workers Union saw speeches from Minister GemmaArias-Vasquez, businesswoman Ayelet Mamo Shay and footballer Shania Robba.
GGCA President Darren Cerisola said the event was to allow women and men to share a platform of equality and equity, where they can be comfortable sharing the challenges both genders face.
